Top Takeaways From This Episode

  • Don’t give up your power when it comes to your children’s health.
  • If you have hope and you do the work, amazing things can happen.
  • Trust your instincts and fight for what you know is right.
  • Appreciate the things that are happening NOW.
  • You cannot let fear hold you back.

Jazzmin Jackson understands why we should trust our instincts. She fully grasps the importance of fighting for the truth. And, she has been forced to finetune and use these skills while advocating for her children.

An unexpected story.

Jazzmin’s story of strength and overcoming takes a major turn when, after a routine vaccination, her young son, Solomon, experienced intense seizures and rapidly declining mobility. Prior to the vaccination, Solomon was a fully functional, healthy, happy little boy. Just days after these shots, he received a grave diagnosis and was given a short time left to live. Unbelievably, Jazzmin was literally told to put her son in hospice and make funeral arrangements. Her instincts told her to fight. This would not be the end of her son’s life.

Unwilling to accept this fate, Jazzmin set off to help her child in any way she could.

Through patience, courage, hope, and a whole lot of hard work, Jazzmin continues to advocate for her child. Finally, knowing that traditional medicine was not helping her child, and unwilling to simply sit back and watch her child die, she discovered alternative and holistic medication options for her son. Ultimately, these changes led to his drastically reduced seizures and reclaimed sense of peace. Slowly, her child resurfaced from beneath the fog of prescribed medications.

Jazzmin’s story provides many gifts.

Through pain, fear and fierce determination, she has educated herself on how to effectively advocate for her children. She teaches us that we, as parents,  are ultimately responsible for ourselves and our children – not the doctors. It is our responsibility to trust our instincts and not let fear hold us back.

While Jazzmin’s story is one of significant stress and uncertainty, she learned to stand up and move in spite of her fear. She learned to be more diligent in all aspects of her life and to never take anything for granted. Her inner strength teaches us the power pushing for new answers and being a fierce advocate for our children. Our time is precious. Our children are precious. With patience and perseverance come great things.

That said, while we are not advocating being anti-vaccination we are encouraging all parents to do research and know what doctors are giving your children. Please understand, each child is different. Trust us, you have the right to handle your own child’s health care differently than other parents. Listen to your instincts when it comes to your kids. You are the expert in this case, not just the medical professionals.
