TRAGEDY LEADS ELAINE RAU’S STORY.

Upon learning of her future brother-in-law’s murder, she requested a leave of absence from her job. At the time, she worked in Chicago’s wedding industry. In order to support her fiance, she planned to travel to Honduras. Shockingly, Elaine’s boss would not permit her to take the time off.

Altogether, Elaine’s boss had no respect for her personal needs or boundaries, and this was the last straw. Elaine was officially pushed over the edge. She realized she must remove herself from such a toxic work environment.

Searching for Inspiration

Elaine left, what she thought was, her dream job to pursue a healthier situation. Most importantly, her family needed to be a priority. Elaine moved to Honduras and began to boldly search for meaning. Through a period of uncertainty, she found it difficult to connect with like-minded female forces in the online world. Elaine was looking for women who were leading the way in online business, but she was struggling to find them. As a result of this discovery, Elaine’s new business platform was born. She would create the connection she was craving.

LadyBossBlogger is an online platform connecting women entrepreneurs and equally providing meaningful business resources. Giving women a voice is Elaine and LadyBossBlogger's goal.
