Lyn Delmastro-Thomson’s young adult life was riddled with anxiety and depression. as a young adult, she felt uncertain of the road ahead. This is, of course, true of many college students. Eventually, she decided to enter a graduate program. Her goal, to become a history professor.
Lyn ignored her intuition and her body with this course of study. Despite the path not feeling right, she continued to push through. Eventually, she began feeling very ill.
Something was terribly wrong.
After routine blood work, Lyn received a call that would change everything. At the age of 25, she was diagnosed with leukemia. There were countless tests run, and Lyn was put on medication to fight cancer. However, this diagnosis never felt right to Lyn. She knew something was wrong but she could not prove it. Truth was, she could simply feel that something was.
HER BODY WAS TELLING HER THE DIAGNOSIS WAS WRONG.

After a great deal of persistence, Lyn was finally referred to a new doctor for a second opinion. Finally, after much effort, the doctors realized she been misdiagnosed.
LYN DID NOT HAVE LEUKEMIA.
The correct diagnosis was a rare blood disorder. It was then that everything shifted for Lyn. Her body had been warning her all along, it was time to pay attention!

Driven by this knowledge, Lyn jumped straight into exploring alternative healing methods including therapy, biofeedback, yoga, and acupuncture. Joyfully, she learned there are countless methods of healing. Truth is, there's no right or wrong solution for health concerns.

This is when Lyn’s business, Heart Fire Healing, was born. The program introduces people to the power of their own healing energy. Coupled with understanding the underlying causes of pain, stress, and illness, she teaches others to allow their body to do healing work.
Excitedly, Lyn also published her first book, You Are Not Your Diagnosis. The book takes readers through her journey of misdiagnosis, healing through alternative medicine, and the lessons she learned along the way. This book is a must-read, it's powerful and full of useful information.
