Join us as we learn about the power found through deeply engaging with what’s hard and how that internal awareness brings about change.
The Gift of Peaceful Separation
Gabrielle’s parents divorced when she was a child. However, it wasn’t until she spent time working in family law that she realized their amicable separation was a true gift. After navigating hundreds and hundreds of families through their own divorces, Gabrielle felt called to contribute in a more impactful way. She knew she could help others reach reasonable, if not positive, resolutions through divorce. It’s no small action to not only tell people they’ll be okay, but to also show them how to be okay.
Navigating Divorce
Gabrielle developed a focus on five key elements to navigating divorce in a better way. Those elements are patience, respect, clarity, peace, and forgiveness. She shows others that it’s all about you and how you feel about yourself. Gabrielle encourages others to deeply engage with themselves, no matter how bad the breakup might be. Divorcing in a better way means turning your focus inward and taking control of how you respond to the situations around you. This idea often referred to as ‘conscious uncoupling,’ benefits every single person involved.
Divorce is hard. But there are ways to come out on the other side as a whole.
Divorce does not mean you’re broken.
The Power of Positivity
Gabrielle focuses on the power found in feeling good about yourself and passing that legacy on to your children. In turn, your children feel like they come from something whole. Divorce is never easy, even if it’s the right thing to do, so it’s super important to draw our attention to ways in which we can address the entire topic in a more positive light.
Additionally, she teaches those working through divorce to reframe the narrative and take control of their life. There’s incredible power in choosing to own your story. She demonstrates the fact that words matter. The way you think about divorce matters. The way you view yourself through divorce matters. So it’s incredibly brave to choose kindness, even when you’re hurting.
