It’s Celebration Time!!
It’s the Brave Files’ 100th episode and for this milestone show, Heather interviews her coach, mentor, and friend, Aaron Anastasi. Aaron is an author, actor, and entrepreneur among many other traits.
Aaron has lived several exciting lives already starting as a professional snowboarder, then touring with an “angsty emo band” to taking stages and changing lives as a transformational coach and embracing his own deepest desires to pursue a career as an actor. In this episode, Aaron shares how his many transformations have helped him become the person he is today.
Embrace life to the fullest
In order to feel great and put his best out into the world, Aaron starts his mornings with a 2-hour ritual full of systems and gratitude. He shares his secrets with us in the interview and there’s just so much gold in this conversation.
Aaron shares what it’s like to pursue a life in the arts, through various creative endeavors while making a living and being happy. This, my friends, is no easy task! He explains how to tackle your big dreams with things like that extensive morning ritual, various systems, strong boundaries and the key distinction between a goal and a commitment! We also talk about knowing how to spend your time to achieve the best results personally and professionally.
You can do a lot, but you can’t do it all!
Aaron Anastasi is, quite simply, a badass. He acts in popular television shows and even has his own IMDB page, has a thriving online business with the Superior Singing Method, and is an executive coach (where he completely changes the lives of people like our host, Heather Vickery).
Also a best-selling author of two books: The Voice of Your Dreams and Your Prosperous Mind, he says the secret to pulling everything off is consistency and commitment. Something as simple as committing to writing two pages every day, for 6 months, and you’ll have a manuscript. Taking these bite-sized steps creates major growth and achievement.
Embrace the struggle
On paper, all of this sounds super easy but these accomplishments haven’t come without challenges. Aaron says his biggest struggle is being a pessimist, including negative thoughts and self-doubt. He works meditation and a gratitude practice into his morning routine to quiet those thoughts. In the end, he strives to act in accordance with his values, face his fears and turn those fears into dreams.
