Growing Up Judgmental
Nechama Robinson grew up in an Orthodox Jewish household that lead Nechama down some interesting roads. In what she describes as a “judgemental culture,” Nechama never strayed away from conflict. After years of an abusive relationship, a singular betrayal of trust was enough to make Nechama stand up for herself and begin living life on her terms.
“If you’re not feeling better in a week you need to attend the support group.”
Nechama found herself in a depressive state after being betrayed by her husband. A deep love for her daughter was the only thing keeping her going. Soon after she found herself at a women's support group where her entire life changed. She realized then that she had to change the way she was living her life, or else there wouldn’t be a life to live.
UnConflict
After struggling with defunct personality quizzes that don’t take individuality into account Nechama decided to create her own. The UnConflict resolution method uses its client-centered, 9-personality framework to understand who you are. This understanding makes it possible to establish a common language for moving past stressful conflicts efficiently and thoroughly. Each of the nine personalities brings together two basic aspects of the human experience. These two components answer the questions:
Which sphere of life is the home base of our identity
Society
Mind
Body
What experience is our strongest motivator to push past life’s challenges
Discovering
Making a difference
Healing the chaos
Learning about yourself is a superpower
Nechama has discovered a way to help all of us learn more about ourselves, our motivations, and our desires. Her scientific-based approach is fascinating, to say the least.
