Dreamscaping Part II – Start living for your dream future today

In my first dreamscaping series post, I discussed the power of creating a clear vision. To better understand what dreamscaping is—and how it can help you achieve your goals—I highly recommend popping over to read that one first!

Once you’ve got a great foundation of knowledge for WHY dreamscaping matters, it’s time to step into action and make some magic happen.

It’s time to start living for your dream future, today.

And, no, that isn’t some fluffy inspirational Pinterest quote bullshit. These are REAL, actionable steps you can take to bring your dreams to life in the here and now.

It starts with envisioning a clear picture of the future you want and equips you to build a roadmap for intentionally manifesting it in your everyday life.

ENVISION THE FUTURE YOU WANT

In order to start building your dream business, you need to have a clear picture of what it looks like.

Start with setting a time frame. Choose a realistic period of time for you to achieve your BHAV—your “big, hairy, audacious vision.” Think 10, 20 or 30 years.

Allow yourself the creative space to dream BIG. Close your eyes and envision where you want to be, even if it feels laughable or unattainable to you in the moment. Really expand your comfort zone here.

Write it down. Once you have a wild goal in mind that lights you up inside—that makes you feel giddy just thinking about it—put that pen to paper with descriptions and scenarios of what it will be like when you achieve that goal. Create a vision board with imagery that inspires—whatever will best motivate you!

Be specific, be clear, be concise. Provide vivid and compelling detail/imagery so that your team members – or personal board of directors – can also be aligned and excited to support you in achieving your BHAV.

There are going to come hard days where you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel or feel motivated to keep pushing forward. Having a source of inspiration to remind you of what you’re working towards is more powerful than you know.

MANIFEST YOUR DREAM LIFE

With a clear vision in mind, it’s time to take action. Here are three tried-and-true methods both me and my clients actively and intentionally use to manifest our dream lives every day.

Have a future-oriented mindset. State your goals and accomplishments in the present tense as if you’ve already met them. You are speaking it into existence.

Practice affirmations. Your words and thoughts matter. Did you know that your mind actually has the power to override the objective truth and shape the reality you desire?

When you get into the practice of positively affirming yourself, your subconscious mind begins to believe those affirmations and acts accordingly. Your self-confidence will SOAR, propelling you into BRAVE action and attracting even more beautiful abundance in your life.

Be intentional with where you show up. This is major because its effects are life-changing! Where are you investing your energy? What spaces do you spend most of your time in? Who are you surrounding yourself with?

Finding spaces, efforts and circles that fulfill and uplift you is not only vital to your mental health, but it can help RADICALLY shift your mindset and give you the strength and courage to make BIG things happen.

Reassess your current habits and be mindful of where you’re spending your time and energy because they are WAY too damn valuable to waste for even a moment longer.

When you envision the person you want to be and the business you want to have – and then make intentional choices to show up in spaces that empower you and move you towards those goals – the possibilities for your life are ENDLESS.

Remember: YOU – and only you – are the architect of your dreams and it’s never too late to start building the future you want.
