Healthy Endings and New Beginnings

Welcome, 2021!

We say it every year, but I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by! This year certainly had its moments (and not all of them flew by quite as quickly as others), but overall it’s been a whirlwind. A groundhogs day style whirlwind!

I am so beyond grateful to have you here, in this beautiful, brave, community! The world pulls us in so many directions, and I know your choices of content are many. I don’t take it lightly that you choose to spend your time here with me. You make this community complete, and I’m forever grateful for your support.

The present is about presence

I want to encourage you to take this time to focus your thoughts on this present moment. Think about where you are, how you got here, and where you want to go. Really push yourself to begin the year from a place of reflection and intentional reassessment.

This time of year is all about healthy endings and new beginnings.

As we close out the year, honesty is the way to go. If you’re here, you want to grow. Whether it’s in your personal life or your business (most likely both!), you’re here to take the time to do the work.

So be honest with yourself. Take the time to sit down and reflect on the following, this process is a healthy way to call in intentional endings and healthy new beginnings.

  • What went really well this year?
  • What do you need to give yourself more credit for?
  • What didn’t work out for you over the past year?
  • What new habits do you want to carry into the New Year?
  • What habits do you not want to carry into the new year?

You’ve done so much shifting over the past 10 months (whether you’ve wanted to or not!), that there surely are areas where you’ve found new things that do serve you and your business. Focus on the habits you want to carry into 2021.

Manifest more of the good.

Once you identify what you want to take with you and what you want to leave behind, you'll begin to create a life that best aligns with your vision and goals for the future. Make commitments to yourself around those things. Invite in more of what works and feels in alignment with your most authentic self. Let go of the things that no longer serve you.

Priorities change, so this isn’t solely about ditching the negative stuff. Good things may no longer be right for you too. We transform our lives best when we stay in tune with our current goals and priorities.

Find gratitude every day.

You know I rely heavily on gratitude in my daily life. It literally changes everything, so I invite you to start the new year by creating rituals around gratitude. Celebrate it and celebrate you! In doing so, you invite even more of that goodness into your life.

You can even grab a copy of my book, Shift Your Focus, to get started on a healthy and intentional gratitude practice.
